Flowers in Mosaic

When I woke this morning it was to the sound of thunder and a rumbling of the house. The weather outside has been gloomy and rainy all day, but I have tried to bring a little fun into my day. We all need a little colour each day to remind us of the rainbows at the end of the storm. I have been dragging my feet all day and haven't really felt fully awake. I think I need a nap.
I took the kids over to our church because I set up a "craft" day for the home school kids in our area. It was fun. I taught mosaic with scrapbooking paper scraps, Chris taught beads, Kay taught the kids how to make miniature bird feeders and Regina taught the kids how to decoupage. They had fun and were able to make some great gifts for Mother's Day.
Robby and Megan are busy getting ready for opening night tonight. It is supposed to be a sold out performance. DDMiller holds 1,000 people, so that's a lot of tickets that were pre sold. We are going tomorrow night. I know that they'll do a great job. Well, I have to run....I do think I'll go take a nap. That's all for now.
