Better Late Than Never

I tried to blog this morning, but the system was jammed up, so it is now afternoon and the kiddos are finished with their school work. I guess I an take a few minutes to jot down some thoughts. I am so very fortunate to have the family that I have. The kids are all relatively good, but more important than perfect behavior is this...we are all healthy and doing well. So often we take our health for granted. We forget that there are kids in this world that can't walk, see, talk, or even raise their heads to acknowledge stimuli in their environments. Although each of my kids have the ability to drive me crazy, they are still physically healthy. I don't ever want to take that for granted. A friend from my web site on MSN asked for prayer last night. A classmate of her son was in a terrible accident and one of their siblings was killed. It is very sobering to hear of a child's death. It makes me want to hug my kids one more time before they head out that door. I don't want to let a moment of their lives go by without them knowing how much they are loved. I am also reminded that prayers are heard and God does listen. Although one child lost his life, it couldhave been a lot worse, three other people from this same family were also in the accident. Please take a moment of your day and say alittle prayer for this family. I have to start getting dinner ready. Sooooo....remember we are BLESSED!

Love you!
Mary
